The Blomgren Building

1924

Gunnar Blomgren, owner of the Sanitary Grocery on Seward Street built a one story structure, as shown in the photograph above. The Piggly Wiggly grocery store occupied the space for many years, and in the early 1950's by the Ben Franklin Variety Store. The second story was added in 1931.
